Rafael Nadal moved on to the fourth round at Wimbledon today after triumphing in a match prolonged over 3 days by weather. Down match point in the third set Monday, Robin Soderling rebounded to win a tiebreaker before play was suspended. Rain interrupted the fifth set yesterday, and today Nadal finally capitalized on his sixth match point.

Nadal's 6-4, 6-4, 6-7, 4-6, 7-5 victory came in a match originally scheduled for Saturday. Dismal weather and endless technical delays have marred this year's tournament, pushing matches far behind schedule and sending the All England Club scrambling to keep on track without forcing competitors into a brutal schedule of consecutive-day matches.
