A 23-year-old duck hunter is recovering from gunshot wounds after a bizarre shooting accident triggered by his dog, reports the Oregonian. As the hunter was tying up his aluminum rowboat on an Oregon lake, his Labrador retriever jumped in, accidentally releasing the safety catch on a 12-gauge shotgun, which fired. "He's a good dog," said the shooting victim's father. "It's just one of those things." (More duck hunter stories.)
