Holloway Suspect: I Sold Her

After claiming—then denying—he dumped Natalee Holloway’s body in the Caribbean, Joran van der Sloot confessed to Fox News he watched her being hauled away on a vessel after selling the drunk teen in 2005 to a Venezuelan man seeking “a blonde girl.” The interview, which aired yesterday, went sour, and van der Sloot later told the network he made the story up.

This is the second on-camera interview van der Sloot has given and later recanted; the first of which he says he gave while high. The 21-year-old Dutch man has been arrested twice but never charged with the Alabama teen’s disappearance, but police announced new leads last week. Van der Sloot now lives in Thailand, where some suspect he is involved in sex trafficking. (More Natalee Holloway stories.)
