Barbara Bush Has Surgery for Ulcer

Barbara Bush has been treated for a perforated ulcer and will likely remain in a Houston hospital through Thanksgiving, the Houston Chronicle reports. The former First Lady had been experiencing abdominal pain for a few days and was driven to the hospital last night by her husband. First Lady Laura Bush has talked to her in-laws and said the former first lady is "doing very well” post-surgery.
