Clinton said in an interview that he would not unduly influence his wife in her position as secretary of State, but would be there to lend an ear. Clinton said his involvement would be, “What our involvement with each other’s work has always been, which is all the years that I was governor and president, I talked to her about everything. I found her advice invaluable, and I'm sure we'll talk about all this.
