Yes Man comes out on top during a quiet weekend at theaters

The Northeast's weather outside was frightful, but elsewhere, audiences found Jim Carrey's Yes Man delightful, reports Variety. The Carrey comedy topped depressed box office returns with just $18.2 million, while Will Smith's drama Seven Pounds took No. 2 with $16 million—the lowest opening for Smith since 2001. The Tale of Despereaux, The Day the Earth Stood Still, and Four Christmases rounded out the top five.
