49ers' coach Mike Singletary can only hope his players are working as hard on their drills as they are on their mustaches. The San Francisco Chronicle reports that many on the team have been growing out their whiskers for Sunday's "throwback game"—in tribute to the glorious, cheesy facial hair of players from decades past. "Every day we go to meetings and we go by these beautiful pictures and we admire these guys' mustaches," says QB Shaun Hill. (More San Francisco 49ers stories.)
