Gay-marriage comedy I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry dominated the weekend box office, raking in $34.8 million to edge out Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix ($32.2 million). Warner Bros., the "Harry" movie studio, said the legions of fans staying home to read the seventh and last book in the series dragged down weekend receipts, Variety reports. Hairspray had the most successful opening weekend for a musical ever, pulling in $27.8 million. Transformers and Ratatouille rounded out the top five.
