The Obamas arrived at the Capitol after coffee with George and Laura Bush, CNN reports. The crowd broke out in cheers as images of the president-elect flashed on giant TV screens in the National Mall. Among the crowd are Aretha Franklin, Dustin Hoffman, Denzel Washington, Oprah Winfrey, Samuel L. Jackson and Steve Spielberg, as well as Former Presidents Clinton, Carter and George H.W. Bush. Clinton was seen embracing the elder Bush.

"I want to see Obama,” said 9-year-old Laura Bruggerman, who at the ceremony with her family. “I think that would be really cool. I could tell all of my friends that I got to see him," the youngster added.
