Pilots Killed at Two Air Shows
Two planes collide while landing during the Experimental Aircraft Association's annual AirVenture show, Friday, July 27, 2007, in Oshkosh, Wis. A stunt pilot doing loop-the-loops at a Dayton air show was killed in a crash today, just a day after another pilot died in a Oshkosh, WI, air show. The stunt pilot  was flying one of two  S2S biplanes when he crashed at the end of the runway, before thousands of fans.

Yesterday, two single-engine war planes collided as they were landing, killing one of the pilots. The two P-51 Mustangs clipped wings; the second pilot suffered minor injuries. On Monday another pilot died attempting to break a speed record en route to Oshkosh when his experimental plane crashed into an apartment building in Switzerland. (More air show stories.)
