President Obama is preparing to lead an international effort to crack down on the Mugabe regime with an aim to driving the controversial autocrat from office, reports the Times of London. The US will push for tougher UN sanctions against Zimbabwe, including a foreign investment ban, and press Russia and China not to veto the action. There's a "tremendous miscarriage of justice in that country and it has to end," said an Obama aide.
