Serena Williams steamrolled into her fourth Australian Open final today with a 6-3, 6-4 win over Elena Dementieva. The No. 2 seed hit 10 aces while Dementieva stumbled with strings of double faults. Williams will face Dinara Safina, who won her semifinal in straight sets over Vera Zvonareva. The matches took place indoors as Melbourne continued to endure a once-in-a-century heatwave, reports the Telegraph.

After her match Williams paid her respects to Roger Federer: "I thought if I could add a little more spin and could play like Roger there's no way I could lose." (More Roger Federer stories.)
