Angelina Jolie may have an Oscar nomination for Best Actress, but Kim Morgan misses “the crazy-movie-star deliciousness” of her bad-girl days, when she was a “gorgeous Vampira weirdo” playing insane roles and “quite nearly mashing on” her brother in a move that finally made the Oscars interesting again. Luckily, the old Angelina is still there, lurking underneath the “pouty-lipped sex bomb Mother Teresa,” Morgan writes for the Huffington Post.

When it comes to last year’s roles, Wanted (where Jolie “skulks around all assassin sexy”), not Changeling, should have garnered her the nomination, Morgan argues. That role, coupled with her stare-down of winner Anne Hathaway at the Critics Choice Awards, signaled a possible return of bad-girl Angie, and that’s a good thing: “Who's Afraid of Angelina Jolie? Many, I think. Thank goodness. Or badness.”
