Turns out, it’s not legal to breastfeed and drive at the same time. Genine Compton found that out the hard way when a male motorist spotted the Ohio woman chatting on a cellphone and breastfeeding one child while driving her other children to school. When police tracked Compton down, she quickly admitted the deed and was issued a citation for misdemeanor child endangerment, reports the Dayton Daily News.

That charge could land Compton in jail for up to 180 days. “She literally has the little girl on the steering wheel and I said, 'I can't believe you have that kid in your lap,’” said the male motorist, who spoke to her on the road. She asked him if he'd like to breastfeed the child. Compton doesn't think she did anything wrong. “If my child’s hungry, I’m going to feed it,” she told WHIO-TV.
