As the Amanda Knox murder trial heads toward its third month, the court today saw the last images of Meredith Kercher, the Times of London reports. The grainy footage, taken from a parking lot surveillance camera, is extremely blurry, but a policeman testified that based on the timing, it was highly likely that the woman in the frame is Kercher. He also testified about finding the 21-year-old’s body, half-naked on her bedroom floor.

Knox’s stepfather was on hand, declaring her “completely innocent” and complaining that the investigation hadn’t been conducted well. He said he’d thrice visited Knox in jail. “She is doing okay,” he said. “These things stress her out, and it’s hard for her to see the overall picture. I sit her down and tell her that (it) is not going so bad, that the prosecution haven’t really brought anything up in court yet.” (More Amanda Knox stories.)
