Establishment hopes to attract 'new faces' to adult industry

A prominent Rhode Island strip club is betting that long spells of unemployment will attract newcomers to the adult entertainment industry, the Providence Journal reports. The Foxy Lady is even hosting a job fair tomorrow, looking to hire up to 25 new dancers, bartenders and bouncers. Unemployment in Rhode Island is above 10%, and a Foxy Lady manager hopes that translates into “new faces” eager to join her business.

“With the way unemployment is right now, there are a lot of people looking for a job who normally wouldn’t come to the Foxy Lady,” said Lori Savickas. “They’re just hungry to start working somewhere. They might find out that it is totally different than they expected.”
