Madonna Adopting Again: Officials

As officials confirm Madonna is en route to Malawi to adopt a new baby, the singer received a glowing recommendation from young lover Jesus Luz’s father, the Mirror reports. “When Cupid strikes, age doesn't matter,” he said. More on Cupid in Hollywood:

• Britney Spears is still texting ex Adnan Ghalib, even though he is legally unable to reply, the Sun says. “She says she is lonely and misses being able to date the men she chooses,” says a source.

• Cupid might need to try again on this one. New parents Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson are on the rocks, a source tells the New York Post, due to the fact that “he is going out all the time and she's stuck at home.”
• Speaking of babies, Mariah Carey still wants one. The singer spent $200,000 on baby gear even though she isn’t pregnant, the New York Daily News reports. One source claims Carey and hubby Nick Cannon have considered adopting.
• Last but not least, Cupid went a little overboard with Prince Harry and his new flame, Astrid Harbord, the Mirror notes. The pair was recently spotted at a rugby match “behaving quite provocatively,” says a source.
