Madonna’s second Malawian adoption case moved forward today, only to have a ruling delayed until Friday, the AP reports. Today’s closed-door hearing came amidst more controversy. “We feel Madonna is behaving like a bully,” said the chairman of a human rights group, who accused her of trying to fast-track the process. Adopted son David Banda spent time with his biological father yesterday. More gossip news:

  • The New York Post brings two tales of Z-listers using A-listers for publicity. Frankie Delgado, recently spotted with Rihanna, “is total bull[bleep] and is now using her to try and get press on himself,” says a source. “He sold her out so he could see his name in print.”
  • Similarly, comeback kid Mickey Rourke has yet another hanger-on trying to hook up with him; first it was Bai Ling, now it’s a Russian model/pop star—who claims the two are about to be engaged.
  • In happier news, Tim Allen became a father for the second time, welcoming daughter Elizabeth on Saturday, the AP reports.
