Thanks to Twitter, fans were reassured yesterday that Miley Cyrus is not dumping boyfriend Justin Gaston, E! reports. Ex-boyfriend Nick Jonas is “so lovely,” but the two are just friends, she insists. Elsewhere:

• Britney Spears’ latest drug: Gardening. The pop star is reading up on the spiritual aspects of “horticulture and how it impacts your well-being,” a source tells the Sun.

• Also from the Sun: Amy Winehouse is the “Pied Piper of St. Lucia,” locals say. The troubled singer plays with island kids and is “determined to do as much as she can for local kids as they’re a lot less fortunate than she is,” a source says.
• Beyoncé took a recent hoax—the doctored recording making her voice sound awful—in stride, the New York Daily News reports. “I knew it was supposed to be silly,” she says. “It’s amazing that someone can do something so obviously funny, and have the whole world take it the wrong way.”
• Despite rumors to the contrary, John Mayer insists he’s single, and he has proof. “If I had a girlfriend, she would be incredibly offended by me saying, ‘I don’t have a girlfriend,’ so that's the proof,” he tells X17.
