Celebrity / Carrie Prejean Racy Photos May Cost Prejean Her Crown No decision yet from pageant officials By Evann Gastaldo, Newser Staff Posted May 6, 2009 9:25 AM CDT Copied In this April 19, 2009 file photo, hosts Billy Bush, center, and Nadine Velazquez, right, listen as Miss California Carrie Prejean answers a question during the Miss USA Pageant in Las Vegas. (AP Photo/Eric Jamison, file) The seminude photos of Carrie Prejean that emerged recently may not be the only ones—and the secret snaps could cost the controversial gay marriage opponent the Miss California crown, CNN reports. Pageant officials held closed-door meetings yesterday to discuss Prejean’s fate. “The reports say that there are more photos to come. We'll see what happens with those,” said a spokesperson. “They are going over the legalities and clearly she breached her contract.” The co-executive director will meet with Prejean's Miss California runner-up “to discuss the possible next steps,” the spokesperson said. Meanwhile, Prejean’s publicist defended her to TMZ: “In her naïveté, an agent convinced her to pose for this photo to submit to a lingerie company, claiming they could make her the next Victoria's Secret model. She has since learned what a lie that was, and what a mistake it was.” (More Carrie Prejean stories.) Report an error
