On a tour with a group battling teen pregnancy, Bristol Palin made a stop on Good Morning America, calling abstinence “realistic"—thus contradicting an earlier comment, the New York Daily News reports. “Abstinence is the only way that you can effectively, 100%, full-proof way to prevent pregnancy,” she said. As for son Tripp, “he's the love of my life," she said, but she would have preferred to wait and have “the same son” later in life.
Meanwhile, estranged baby-daddy Levi Johnston made his own appearance this morning, telling the Early Show the no-sex campaign just isn't realistic. "Abstinence is a great idea," he said, "but I also think you need to enforce, you know, condoms and birth control and other things like that to have safe sex. I don't just think telling young kids, you can't have sex, it's not going to work. It's not realistic." (More Bristol Palin stories.)
