Wesleyan Locked Down After Student Shot Dead

A college student is dead after being shot at a popular hangout near the Middletown, Conn., campus of Wesleyan University, and the gunman remains at large, the Hartford Courant reports. Witnesses say the shooter entered the cafe at 1pm, walked to a woman behind the counter, and fired multiple shots. Police recovered a gun at the scene.
