Drew Peterson attempted to pay someone $25,000 to kill his third wife in 2003, a year before she was found drowned in her bathtub, prosecutors alleged today. The disgraced former cop, who has been charged with murdering Kathleen Savio himself, tried and failed today to have his $20 million bail reduced, the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
