Michael Lohan, who pleaded not guilty to accusations he threatened to kill his fiancée, tells E! that Erin Muller wants to drop the charges. “By no means did I threaten to cause harm to Erin or myself,” he says. “As a matter of fact, Erin even told the court that she didn’t want to pursue anything.” Lohan—now a religious counselor—claims the charges stem from a misunderstanding.

“It’s all going to be dropped. It’s an example of how people twist things,” he continued, and went on to discuss his daughter Lindsay’s relationship with Samantha Ronson: She “has another chance now,” but “if Sam does come back in her life, it is all going to go downhill.” (More Lindsay Lohan stories.)
