In a bid to make its Xbox 360 more interactive, Microsoft is bringing Twitter, Facebook, Last.fm, a lightning-speed video service, and—brace yourself—a motion-sensing camera that knows who you are just by reading your face to the console, Ars Technica reports. The company even brought in Steven Spielberg to demonstrate the camera today at a conference in Los Angeles.
The camera will also respond to voice commands, help you try on digital clothes, and project you into games. The star power continued with Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr launching The Beatles: Rock Band, complete with three-part harmonies. And the new features will allow gamers to send screenshots and scoring updates from the likes of Tiger Woods PGA Tour to their Twitter feeds, PC World adds. (More Xbox 360 stories.)
