Famed pathologist Michael Baden is traveling to California to conduct a private autopsy of actor David Carradine, reports Radar. One of Baden's skills is tracking autoerotic asphyxiation, which may have been the cause of Carradine's death, but the former chief medical examiner of New York City is also trained to spot subtle signs of foul play. The actor was found dead in his hotel room with cords around his neck and genitals.

"Baden is one of the most experienced forensic pathologists in the world. If there's something suspicious, he'll find it," said the head of Forensics Sciences at John Jay College. Baden will perform "a typical autopsy of the body" as well as a "psychological autopsy, to get into the mind of the deceased," he told the New York Daily News.
