After being kicked off his Sul Ross State football squad 37 years ago, 59-year-old Mike Flynt is returning to the lineup. The grandfather earned a spot on the Division III Texas team and is slated to start next month. The one-time star was booted off his senior year after getting into too many fistfights--a fate he's regretted for years.

Friends finally convinced him to tackle his remorse and now he's likely to become the oldest player in college history. His former coach said the physical fitness buff is quite a "specimen" in excellent condition. "If I can help anyone out with what I'm doing, it's all worth it," said Flynt.
