Michael Jackson’s funeral could be as lavish as one of his concerts. His body will reportedly be transported in a horse-drawn carriage, and he could be on view in a glass coffin. “The glass casket idea would create so much public interest it would take time to organize,” a source tells the Sun. “People would make the pilgrimage from the other side of the world.”

“The idea is causing internal stress within the family,” partially because, under the Jehovah’s Witness beliefs of parents Joe and Katherine, the body must be buried as soon as possible, the source adds. “The question that keeps coming back is, ‘What would Michael have wanted?’” (More Michael Jackson stories.)
