Vouchers for Michael Jackson's memorial service hit eBay and Craigslist just after winners were notified of their good luck, CBS News reports. Most were advertised for less than $1,000, but one voucher was for immediate sale for $20,000. Some of the Craigslist postings were flagged for removal. The scalping possibilities were strictly limited: Voucher winners got passwords that expired last night at 11:59, and a bracelet will be slapped on the ticket buyer when he or she picks up his pair.
That means that only the guest bracelet can easily go on the market, the Los Angeles Times notes. “Theoretically, the second wrist band can be sold,” admits a Staples Center spokesman. (More Michael Jackson stories.)
