Movie fans are filling the last week before school starts by going to the flicks their friends liked: “Superbad,” “The Bourne Ultimatum” and “Rush Hour 3” kept drawing them in with the top 3 spots this week. Rowan Atkinson's “Mr. Bean's Holiday” took surprise swipes at other newcomers like the Jet Li vehicle “War” and “The Nanny Diaries” starring Scarlett Johansson.
Cringe-comedy “Superbad” has raked in $68.5 million in its ten-day run, the best draw for an R-rated flick since “300” and third-best for a comedy this year, after “Wild Hogs” “I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry.” “The Simpsons Movie,” “Stardust,” “Hairspray” and “The Invasion” rounded out the top 10. “Bourne” slid 38% but hit $185.1 million overall while “Rush Hour 3” reached $109 million.
