Hogwarts Is Rife With Homosexual Tension

No fancy divining necessary: Anyone with decent gaydar can see that new Harry Potter movie is awash in homoeroticism, Natasha Vargas-Cooper writes on Gawker. Hogwarts is seething with hormones in the Half-Blood Prince, she notes, but with the idea of "loose lady wizards" a no-no, most of the flirtation and innuendo stays between the boys. "In the tradition of British boarding schools, things got a little gay."

Things get especially hot, she says, between Harry and Ron, whose "supposed crush on Hermione is as lustful as nursing home bingo game." Hogwarts' male teachers and schoolboys also seem touchy-feely with each other, she notes, even before you get to the riding of phallic broomsticks and blatantly gay Dumbledore's having "a literal flaming box of secrets in his closet!" "I also think Radcliffe is gay as all get out!" she adds. "There, I said it." (More Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince stories.)
