Joe Jackson spoke to Larry King last night—in an interview King made sure to affirm was not paid for—and reaffirmed his belief Michael’s death involved “foul play,” denied any plans to put his three grandchildren into show business, and called claims he abused Michael “bull. I’ve never been abusive to him, never have. Michael was never beaten by me, I've never beaten at all.” More:

  • The Jackson family is arguing over Michael’s will, sources tell TMZ, with Joe—via Katherine—challenging the executors Michael selected, while most of the brothers believe the named executors should stand.
  • Another issue the family can’t agree on: Michael’s final resting place, People reports. Neverland Ranch and Forest Lawn are still the top contenders, and a source says Katherine, who initially disapproved, is closer to agreeing to Neverland.
  • The first “Michael Jackson was murdered” book proposal has made it to publishers, the New York Post reports. The author, an E! editor, writes in the proposal that “a conspiracy of forces” contributed to his death.
