It’s getting harder and harder to be a sex offender these days. A new iPhone app called “Offender Locator,” available for a mere 99¢, is growing in popularity and recently cracked the App Store’s Top 10, the Chicago Tribune reports. Just input an address, and the device will point out anyone nearby who’s on the sex offender registry.

"The more information you have, the better decisions you make," says the president of ThinAir Wireless, the company behind the app, which he calls a "peace of mind" product. "If I was going to take my child to the park and I see that the area is infested with child predators and I look up one that isn't, I'm going to take them to the one that isn't."
