GOP Rep. Michelle Bachmann doesn’t want to be “Palinized”—that is, hammered with media attacks and “liberals’ scorn,” she writes in a fundraising letter to supporters. “Just as they did with Sarah Palin, the more I talk about the issues, the more they attack with below-the-belt personal hits,” Bachmann notes. "Don't let them Palinize me!" For the definition of “Palinize,” she points to the Urban Dictionary, Talking Points Memo reports.

Most of the definitions of “Palinize” she cites are pro-Palin, anti-media, TPM notes—excluding, perhaps, one: “to exaggerate the truth or lie by omission.” The Minnesota rep adds that “yesterday, a Minnesota paper gave a full column to a hit piece on one of my kids!” She apparently referred to a story about how her son had joined Teach for America, despite her calling AmeriCorps a “re-education camp.”
