Hit with a $20 million divorce settlement, John Cleese is taking to the stage for the first time in four years to raise some cash—and have a little fun airing his outrage at the payout to his third wife. A Ludicrous Evening with John Cleese… or How to Finance Your Divorce opens in Oslo tonight, and will continue in the US under the title A Final Wave at the World...or the Alimony Tour Year One, the Mail reports.

“I get angry that I have to pack my trunk, just to go away to make money,” the 70-year-old Cleese says. “That I, at my age, would have to plan my life anew to pay her all the money she is to get for the next seven years—well, it irritates me. I'd rather have been drinking coffee, reading books and writing. I can't afford that now.” The payout reduces the actor's wealth to around $16 million, the Daily Mail estimates, and has cost him his home in London.
