London Cops Hunt Girls in Gay's Murder
London police are seeking these two teens, seen on CCTV, after the murder of a 62-year-old gay man in central London.   (Metropolitan Police)

Police are hunting two teenage girls and a young man after the murder of a gay man in central London. The victim, 62, suffered severe brain damage and died earlier this week after his life support machine was switched off. The trio punched and kicked the man to the ground after he chided them for shouting homophobic abuse at him and a friend as they walked through tourist hot spot Trafalgar Square, the Independent reports.

"Normally in these sorts of cases we are looking for young males but in this case two of the three suspects are female," said the detective leading the investigation. "It is also rare that this should happen in central London." (More London stories.)
