Fearing that Jackass-style daredevil stunts are getting lost on YouTube, one entrepreneur has launched a site where the brave/stupid take on dares from others. Make A Dare users then vote, with “street cred” the winner’s reward. At least for now—Tory Osinoff tells True/Slant he hopes he can hook up actual loot at some point, and maybe Jackass-like, um, professional opportunities.

“We’re launching webcam dares so you can do dares live on webcam and setting up a way to put down a wager and you get a random dare,” Osinoff adds. The site’s featured dare at the moment is arm-wrestling with a twist—twist being the loser’s fist ends up in a nest of lit candles. “I just want people to come to the site and be happy,” Osinoff says. “I’m not worrying about the profit right now.”
