Controversial DirecTV commercial is a 'tribute,' reps insist

Why did David Spade agree to the recent DirecTV ad that uses a scene from Tommy Boy, starring his departed costar Chris Farley? "To honor Chris's memory," his publicist tells the New York Postbut the $200,000 sources say Spade was paid probably didn't hurt.
