A Sex Predator Speaks
The man known as "J" or "Parafling" says he was normally only interested in cybersex.   (Shutterstock)

From Pennsylvania detective Michele Deery’s perspective the story goes like this: Fishing for sexual predators, she logged online posing as a mother who wanted to find someone to have sex with her two young daughters. She soon found a nearby man who, without too much prompting, offered to have sex with first her, and then the girls. When he showed up for the rendezvous, he was arrested—case closed, bad guy caught. But "J" tells a very different side of the story to Vanity Fair.

He was a serial cyber sexer, who let women regale him with their darkest sexual fantasies. When he encountered “heatherscutiepies,” he quickly divined that sex with her girls was her forbidden kink, so he played along. Then, enticed by the idea of real-life sex, he engineered a scenario where she’d have sex with him alone, then go pick up the kids, and he’d bolt before she returned. Cops didn’t buy his story, and he wound up serving a year in prison. (More sexual predator stories.)
