The Kansas City Chiefs released Larry Johnson today, following a 2-week suspension for insulting coach Todd Haley. He leaves the team having rushed for 5,996 yards, just 74 yards short of the Chiefs' rushing record, which was set by Priest Holmes, the Kansas City Star reports.
