A Polish man who insulted the president by manipulating Google's search results may get a lot of time to think about what he's done—3 years behind bars. A hacker identified only as "Marek W." made president Lech Kaczynski's homepage the top match for a vulgar term for penis, Ars Technica reports, and the government responded by arresting him.

Insulting the president is a crime in the land of the Polish joke, but Marek says he just wanted to “check if the software works,” according to a Polish news report. "Google bombing" pranks, which have also targeted President Bush and Michael Moore, among many others, are expected to be more difficult now that Google has changed its algorithm.
