Tiger Woods bolstered his case yesterday as the best golfer ever—not once, but twice. Woods ran away from the field at the Tour Championship, winning for the second straight year, and setting tour records along the way. That victory also secured Woods the Fedex Cup, which will net him $10 million when he retires.

The more modest $1.26 million Woods earned with his Tour Championship victory makes his total earnings for this year $10.867 million, a career best. Woods has won four of his last five events. He has an impressive seven wins in the season, the fourth time in his career he has won at least that many times in a single season. (More Tiger Woods stories.)
