Kate Gosselin Loses Talk Show Gig

Looks like Kate Gosselin will have to come up with another way to stay in the spotlight: Sources say the reality show mom has been booted from an upcoming talk show for being too controversial. Gosselin shot the pilot, a show geared toward working moms, with Paula Deen and two others in September—and some were concerned Kate’s infamy was taking attention away from Deen, the star of the show, Radar reports.

“There was a lot of arguing” over whether Gosselin was ready for a full-time hosting gig before she was finally dropped, one source says. The entire show is now struggling to survive—but don’t expect Gosselin to go away any time soon. Though the show that made her famous, Jon and Kate Plus 8, is over, TLC plans to bring Kate back in the spring.
