Hall’s battle with cancer has been well publicized—but apparently no one informed the New York Times. Someone at the paper’s Moment blog slammed the hat Hall wore to the Golden Globes, tweeting, “Is Michael C. Hall playing Bob Marley in an upcoming movie? Don’t get the hat,” Perez Hilton reports. The post has since been removed, and a number of Twitter users quickly set the blogger straight. “So sorry that Michael C. Hall has had cancer,” the blogger posted later. “Thanks for clarifying why he is wearing a knitted skull cap.” Read These Next After Kennedy Center name change, holiday jazz concert is canceled.
