Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab is continuing to provide the FBI with vital—and chilling—information now that he's talking, intelligence sources say. Officials say that the underwear bomber, who started cooperating after family members were flown in from Nigeria, has provided details about his al-Qaeda handlers in Yemen. He believes there are more recruits like him and more attacks in the works, sources tell ABC News.

Republicans slammed the White House's decision to hold a briefing earlier this week to let the press know that Abdulmutallab is now providing information, accusing Democrats of seeking political cover. The intent was to let people "know that we're doing everything possible to keep the American people safe," a White House spokesman said, defending the decision. "Nothing came out that compromises any of the investigations." (More underwear bomber stories.)
