Nancy Kerrigan says she views the ruling of her father's death as a homicide "unjustified," and says she and her family plan to help her brother fight assault charges. In a letter to friends and fans released today, Kerrigan says the ruling has only intensified the pain of losing her father, who collapsed during a scuffle with his son, Mark.

"It isn't over yet, particularly with the ruling this week about the cause of my dad's death; a ruling, by the way, which we think was unjustified and which we plan to help my brother fight," Kerrigan wrote in the letter, as reported by ABC News.
