Ungrateful nation ''gobsmacked'

Police are investigating a Scottish rugby fan who deliberately dropped his kilt during a live BBC broadcast. Boozy Keith Davies proudly flashed a stunned nation as a group of Scotland supporters talked to BBC Wales before a major rugby series in Cardiff over the weekend. Viewers were "gobsmacked," reports the Daily Record of the incident in the town of Glynneath as the camera stayed on Davies for breath-stopping seconds.

Many viewers were outraged, but supporters say it was all in drunken fun. "It was just the drink talking. Keith's a really good lad and we think the world of him," said a pal. It's not clear yet what the police might do to the flasher. The BBC has apologized—twice—and is apparently in a struggle with YouTube viewers who repost the video almost as soon as it's yanked off the site.
