New York police said today Najibullah Zazi, the Afghan-born man who admitted plotting to bomb the city's subway system, planned to attack commuters at rush hour with at least two other bombers. Zazi, 25, pleaded guilty yesterday to several charges, and is cooperating with investigators.
Others charged in the plot include two of Zazi's high school classmates from Queens, who have court appearances later this week. NYPD Commissioner Raymond Kelly hasn't named the suspects he says planned to bomb the subways with Zazi. But he said today the plot has been disrupted. (More Najibullah Zazi stories.)
