Gadhafi Calls for Jihad ... Against Swiss

Pious Muslims should avoid cuckoo clocks and Swiss chocolates, and wage a holy war against the "infidel nation" of Switzerland, according to Moammar Gadhafi. "Any Muslim in any part of the world who works with Switzerland is an apostate—is against Muhammad, God and the Koran," the Libyan leader said yesterday as he ramped up his vendetta against the country.

Muslims "must go to all airports in the Islamic world and prevent any Swiss plane landing, to all harbors and prevent any Swiss ships docking, inspect all shops and markets to stop any Swiss goods being sold," Gadhafi said. The Libyan—who last year urged the UN to abolish Switzerland and split its land among Italy, France, and Germany—has held a grudge against the country since his son was arrested there in 2008 for allegedly beating his servants, reports the Guardian.
