One lovable "dork" was in luck yesterday when she ended a crossword on the clue, "Will you marry me?" Her boyfriend fell to one knee and popped the question right then and there. He'd had a long night, wondering if his conjugal crossword would be published in the Boston Globe — but lucky for him, a married team had penned the puzzle around his query.

Aric Egmont's letter to the Globe must have tugged on a few heart strings: he wrote that the couple did a crossword one day and took "that first tiny step towards normalcy, spending time together doing the same things we would regularly do on our own.” Yet it was tough to fill the puzzle with clues from Jen's life, clues she figured were just fluky until Aric took the ring out, the Globe reports.
